This program is not available to the public – Snapchat has a limited pool of publishing partners including Viacom, NBC, NASCAR, Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, and now Ghost Media!
To create a Discover Show a publisher like Ghost Media must pitch a content creator’s show concept to Snapchat. We’ll help you organize material for the show pitch, complete the submission on your behalf, and then work with our Snapchat rep to ensure everything is in compliance to get your Show approved. Once your Show is live, you’ll want to continuously post new Episodes to rack up views and revenue. We offer two options to support you and your brand in the way that works best for you:
Content Creator Publishing

You can rest assured we’ll be on top of resolving any issues that arise so you can focus on creating content.
Ghost Media Publishing
First we’ll organize material for the show pitch, complete the submission on your behalf, and then work with our Snapchat rep to ensure everything is in compliance to get your Show approved. Once your Show is live we’ll stitch together content from other platforms, edit, manage thumbnails and titles, and publish episodes on your behalf. You can monitor your show performance and sit back to let us handle everything – enjoy continuous revenue from Snapchat without any extra workload.
You can select the revenue model and amount of effort that makes the most sense for you. Snapchat takes a 50% cut from all Shows, similar to the way Youtube currently functions. The remainder will be split between you and Ghost Media depending on the publishing option you

If Ghost Media is managing and publishing your content and you’d like to switch to the more

If after a few months you see the success of your show and would like to take creative control we always leave an option open for the creator to take over and switch to the more favorable model where your team handles all fulfillment.

We have extensive experience navigating the submission, approval, and posting process on Snapchat’s Discover platform – this format is very different from any other social media you may be used to and comes with stringent guidelines that all content must adhere to.
We’re not only experts in working on the platform and with these guidelines, but we also have a uniquely close relationship with Snapchat’s North America Media rep that lets us quickly resolve issues, have additional insight into broader Discover Show performance data, and some additional flexibility in the content we’re allowed to publish.
We’ve had multiple shows reinstated more than once after being completely removed from the platform, and have also had many resolutions for lesser issues fast-tracked for our content creators while other creators and publishers may be stuck waiting or never have their content reinstated.

This is different from the Snapchat Spotlight (which is available to anyone); you will need to work with a publisher who’s already partnered with Snapchat to start a Discover Show.

In our experience, it can take anywhere from 10 to 30 episodes for you to have a good picture of how your content is performing on Snapchat. Once we have that information we’ll be able to build out a strategy for improving performance including trying different thumbnails, tiles, content style, etc. We’ll provide feedback and recommendations on adjustments that can be made to improve the performance of your content as we go.
